A vital part of Kids Cottage Early Years Learning Centre is our parent and educator partnerships. Working in collaboration with families and our local community through an active two-way communication process establishes a strong sense of belonging within our centre.

Centre News

Newsletters and regular emails are a great way for parents to access information about children’s experiences, current and upcoming events, educator holidays and professional development.

Calendar of Events

During the year special events are organised such as mothers and fathers afternoon teas, Grandparents day, dress-up, cooking and theme days as well as children’s interests visitors where families can attend and join in the fun and celebration.

Information Nights

Information nights are also organised to provide families with valuable information in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. These include children’s health, nutrition and getting ready for school sessions.

Open communication

At Kids Cottage Early Years Learning Centre we have many methods of communication which are available to meet the diverse needs of families: Face to face, by telephone, email and through our website. We also provide opportunities for parents to give feedback on our programs, children’s portfolio and our menu. We also distribute an annual parent survey and parting questionnaire upon leaving our centres.
