Educator and family relationships are an integral component of KC Philosophy. We value the strong influence the child’s family has, as their first teachers. Our team of dedicated Educators encourage families to share their home life experiences and values. They embed these key elements into our continuously evolving curriculum, encouraging families to feel a true sense of inclusiveness and belonging.
We understand that in our post pandemic world, with increased working from home and online interactions, some family members are not exposed to as many social interactions. We are fortunate to be able to continue to have daily interactions with our families, engaging in meaningful conversations. External events for families such as; weekend zoo days, discos etc extends our socialisation in alternative atmospheres with added benefits of enabling families to connect with other KC families.
Our motto is:
‘We don’t just enrol a child, we enrol the whole family’.
Our long term Educators ensure our family relationships are strong and we are fortunate to educate and care for not only a family’s first child, but also younger siblings. These connections continue to evolve with many graduating families returning to visit, sending Christmas cards and emails, sharing our children’s progress, how their family is growing and developing. At KC, our Educators want to get to know more than just the enrolled child, we want to also connect and develop long lasting relationships with the child’s family too.
