At Kids Cottage Early Years Learning Centre, we understand the importance of preparing children for a positive and successful transition to school. We acknowledge that it is important to collaborate with children, families and schools within our community in order to establish reciprocal relationships and positive networks. Providing support, information and authentic learning experiences encourages children to access their new educational setting with a sense of familiarity and security.
Our school readiness program is offered to children from 3 years of age. Our educators work alongside children to provide and create learning experiences throughout our daily program which enhance and develop children’s emerging skills and knowledge. Educators observe and record children’s process in accordance to outcomes and indicators which are built from ‘The Early Years Learning Framework’ and ‘The Department of Education Syllabus’.
